10 GE NGY with XFP, SFP+, and 10GBASE-T Interfaces
Ixia’s extra performance (XP) NGY load modules (LSM10GM8XP, 4XP and 2XP) deliver higher control plane performance and scalability for both layer 3 routing protocol emulation and upper layer 4-7 stateful traffic testing. The XP series of ports use an XFP interface, and provide a small premium over the full featured models by allowing you to meet your demands for high performance and scale without undue pressure on your budget.
The XP’s capabilities are mirrored in the full performance SFP+ (LSM10GXM8S, 4S, 2S) and 10GBASE-T (LSM10GXM8GBT, 4GBT, 2GBT) interface versions of the load modules.
The NGY series of modules provides the industry’s highest density 10 Gigabit Ethernet test solution, with up to 96 ports of 10GE test ports in a single XM12 High Performance chassis.
Ixia’s high density 10 Gigabit Ethernet load modules are available with a reduced performance option. A field replaceable power supply upgrade kit (943-0005) is available for the XM12 chassis (941-0002) to convert it to the high-performance version. Up to ten 8-port NGY 10GBASE-T full performance load modules are supported in an XM12 High Performance chassis, and up to eight 8-port NGY 10GBASE-T full performance load modules are supported in a standard XM12 chassis). The XM2 chassis (941-0003) supports up to twelve ports of 10GBASE-T full performance load modules.

The server application licensed features are accessed through various Ixia client applications that interact with the chassis server.
You can download the Ixia client applications if you have online access with Ixia. These client applications are typically free from Ixia but you will need an Ixia logon account. We offer a selection of these applications to our customers at no charge but the selection is incomplete. We do not sell these with the servers as a package. Client application needs are the buyers responsibility, we do not guarantee that we will have all your needs though we will try to assist you if we can. We only guarantee the server applications as itemized in the listings.
In a single user environment you can set the client side GUI interface on a external PC or you can set them up on an application server when using a chassis in a multi-user environment to access and configure all the sub-license features included in a listing. Multiple chassis can be accessed in the client applications environment which allows you to use the licensed features of several chassis all at once in one interface.

Electronics in general, where possible items are tested. The value of an item greatly contributes to the amount or effort put into testing. It just isn’t possible to test many low value items due to the time required and the expenses associated with it. Appliance parts. Used items are cleaned, clear plastics are hand polished to reduce visible scuffs or scratches. Paint chips are sometimes but not always repaired. 2 XM12 High Performance chassis (941-0009) is required for 80 or more ports of 10 GbE NGY XFP or SFP+ 8-port, load modules to be installed in a single chassis. A field replaceable power supply upgrade kit (943-0005) is available for the XM12 chassis (941-0002) to convert it to the high-performance version. Up to ten 8-port NGY 10GBASE-T full performance load modules are supported in an XM12 High Performance chassis, and up to eight 8-port NGY 10GBASE-T full performance load modules are supported in a standard XM12 chassis). The XM2 chassis (941-0003) supports up to twelve ports of 10GBASE-T full performance load modules.
3The LSM10GXM8XP/4XP/2XP load modules do not support transceivers that consume more than 2.5 watts of power per port. The LSM10GXM8S/4S/2S load modules do not support transceivers that consume more than 2.0 watts of power per port.
